Learn 10 Signs Your Partner Might End Up Taking Your Life

1. History of Abuse In The Relationship
This is one of the most common signs, yet the most overlooked. Chances are high that a person who is used to abusing you can end up taking your life. Unfortunately many stay hoping the partner will change, while in actual fact, they just get worse.
2. Suicidal Partner
Threats to commit suicide is a red flag, an indicator that such a person could go on to seriously harm or kill his partner and those most close. Men commit most of the homicide-suicide cases. Most victims are women and children. Therefore it is imperative that women understand the nature and gravity of the situation and seek help.

3. They Want To Seek Revenge
Some people are generally charming, but if you cross them, you’ll know why they don’t keep people around for too long. If they feel they’ve been betrayed or lied to, they will go to sometimes extreme lengths seeking revenge. Be aware.

4. You Fight Dirty
Couples fight, even the happiest ones, it just comes with the relationship territory. But they use fights as an opportunity to tear you down, to hit below the belt, to get out all the anger and resentment they feel, be aware. Dirty fights are a sign that the resentment level in the relationship has hit its limit.

5. They Disregard Your Feelings
Killers lack empathy so if you get upset with them, they have a hard time understanding why. They won’t act sorry or even see a reason for you to be upset. They are incapable of empathy and may even try to blame you for ‘trying to make them feel bad’ about the situation.

6. They Lie Constantly
They’re also really good at it. People capable of killing can make up a blatant, outrageous lie without a blink of an eye with the drop of a hat. Their lies usually are self-serving, making them out to sound really impressive.

7. Nothing Gets Resolved
Every relationship will have its issues. In a toxic relationship, nothing gets worked through because any conflict ends in an argument. There is no trust that the other person will have the capacity to deal with the issue in a way that is safe and preserves the connection. When this happens, needs get buried, and in a relationship, unmet needs will always feed resentment.

8. You Get Blamed Even For Their Faults
Saying ‘I’m sorry’ is not always easy, but sociopaths find it nearly impossible to admit they’re wrong. They will always find a way to turn it around on you. If they stood you up, they blame you for ‘not reminding them because you know they are forgetful.

9. They Always Put You Down
This is one of the biggest signs of a bad relationship. It seems like it would be pretty black and white, but often you don’t even realize all the ways he’s putting you down because it can be done in sneaky ways that aren’t flat-out criticisms. And if you’re in far enough, you already aren’t feeling like yourself and aren’t feeling good enough about yourself, so you may even agree with the negative things he says to you and about you.

10. They Don’t Have Many (or any) Close Relationships
They tend not to have a lot of real friends because of how self-involved they are and how often they hurt people. If a person has a lot of burnt bridges and no real, close friends, they just may be a murderer.
